Engine Coolant Temperature Sending Unit

With sending unit submerged in hot water, check engine coolant temperature sending unit resistance between terminal and sending unit body. Resistance should be 160-240 ohms at 122°F (50°C), 17.1-21.2 ohms at 248°F (120°C). Replace sending unit if resistance is not as specified.
