Removal & Installation

  1. Knock sensors are located on front and rear left side of cylinder block. Disconnect negative battery cable. If removing rear sensor, disconnect wiring at starter. Remove bolts and starter.
  2. On all sensors, disconnect knock sensor connector. Remove knock sensor. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten knock sensor and starter bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS.
