Test 16: Engine Oil Level Warning Light Never On

Disconnect instrument panel connector "B". Turn ignition on. If engine oil level warning light illuminates after 40 seconds, check oil level warning switch. See OIL LEVEL SWITCH under COMPONENT TESTS . Replace as needed. If oil level warning switch is okay, repair wiring between instrument panel and switch. If engine oil level warning light does not illuminate after 40 seconds, check oil level warning light. If light bulb is bad, replace bulb and retest. If bulb is okay, replace circuit plate and retest.
