(Bank No. 1, Sensor No. 1 & Bank No. 2,Sensor No. 1)

  1. Heated Oxygen Sensors (HO2S) are mounted in exhaust manifolds. Vehicle must be raised and supported to access sensor.
  2. When removing sensor(s), ensure permanent pigtail is protected from damage.
  3. Remove sensor(s) from exhaust manifold(s). Avoid using cleaning solvents of any type. If engine temperature is less than 120°F (48°C), sensor(s) may be difficult to remove.
