When System Is In Warning (Alarm) Mode

A number of failures or malfunctions are possible when system is in warning mode (alarm is, or should be, sounding). Identify details of system failure and go to specified test.

• Horns do not sound. Check horn relay circuit. See TEST 3 under TESTING.
• Theft deterrent horn does not sound. Check theft deterrent horn circuit. See TEST 4 under TESTING.
• Headlights do not flash. Check headlight control relay circuit. See TEST 5 under TESTING.
• Taillights do not flash. Check taillight control relay circuit. See TEST 6 under TESTING.
• Starter circuit is not cut off. Check starter relay circuit. See TEST 2 under TESTING.
