Washer Motor Circuit Test

  1. Disconnect washer motor connector. While pressing and holding button on end of switch lever, check continuity between chassis ground and terminal No. 1. See Figure. If continuity does not exist, repair circuit.
  2. If continuity exists, turn ignition on. Measure voltage between chassis ground and terminal No. 2. If battery voltage is present, circuit is okay. If battery voltage is not present, check for faulty wiring harness, wiper switch or power source.
