Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 and negative (-) lead to terminal 2, then check that the mirror turns to left side. See Fig 1.
Reverse polarity and check that the mirror turns to right side. See Fig 1.
Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 3 and negative (-) lead to terminal 2, then check that the mirror turns upward. See Fig 2.
Reverse polarity and check that the mirror turns downward. See Fig 2.
