Instrument Cluster Circuit Tests

WARNING: All vehicles are equipped with Supplemental Restraint System (SRS). Before servicing, disconnect and shield negative battery cable. Wait at least 90 seconds to allow back-up power supply to be depleted. DO NOT  use electrical test equipment on SRS circuits. Use caution when working around steering column, as air bag could deploy.
NOTE: Unless specified otherwise, use a DVOM with a minimum input impedance of 10-megohms during testing.

Disconnect instrument cluster connectors "A", "B" and "D". See Fig 1. Using DVOM, test each circuit from the harness side of appropriate connector under the condition listed. See Fig 2. If specification value is not as specified, repair wiring as necessary. See appropriate wiring diagram in WIRING DIAGRAMS .
