High Position Operation

  1. Leave both connectors (6-pin connector and 1-pin adjustment connector) attached to wiper angle motor. Turn ignition on. Place wiper switch in HIGH position. Turn ignition switch to LOCK or ACC position. Disconnect 6-pin connector.
  2. Continuity should exist between terminals No. 1 and 3 (motor half of connector). See Figure. If there is continuity, check STOP position operation (next procedure). If there is no continuity, check wiper control relay circuits. See WIPER CONTROL RELAY CIRCUIT TEST  under CIRCUIT TESTING. If circuits are okay, replace motor. If problem still exists, replace wiper control relay.
