Description & Operation

WARNING: All vehicles are equipped with Supplemental Restraint System (SRS). Before servicing, disconnect and shield negative battery cable. Wait at least 90 seconds to allow back-up power supply to be depleted. DO NOT use electrical test equipment on SRS circuits. Use caution when working around steering column, as air bag could deploy.

Instrument cluster uses analog (needle-type) speedometer, tachometer and gauges. A circuit plate (printed circuit) on back on instrument cluster conducts current between components. See Figure.
