Power Mirror Assembly
WARNING:
To prevent possible fire hazard, ensure mirror defogger element is off or has had ample time to cool before sliding shop towel behind mirror.
- Disconnect battery negative cable. Pry rearward edge of speaker grill and remove. Remove 6 screws and door upper trim panel. Remove screws and disconnect power mirror motor harness connector. Remove mirror assembly.
- Slide a shop towel between mirror and mirror housing. Pull outward on bottom of mirror, using shop towel to disengage mirror retaining clips. Rotate mirror upward to disengage pivot pins. To install, reverse removal procedure.
