Od Direct Clutch Speed Sensor

  1. Remove sensor from transmission. Connect ohmmeter between OD direct clutch speed sensor terminals. Place a magnet near speed sensor tip. Quickly move magnet away from speed sensor tip. Move magnet quickly several times while observing ohmmeter.
  2. DVOM should intermittently indicate a voltage less than one volt. If DVOM intermittently indicates a voltage less than one volt, OD direct clutch speed sensor is okay. If DVOM does not intermittently indicate a voltage less than one volt, replace OD direct clutch speed sensor.
