Parking Brake Switch Input Signal Check

Perform INPUT SIGNAL CHECK  under TROUBLE SHOOTING. When parking brake pedal or lever is activated, indicator light should go off (ES300, SC300 and SC400) or indicator light should generate a 7-pulse signal (LS400). If indicator light functions as described, go to next inspection item shown on matrix chart. See Figure, Figure or Figure \ If indicator light does not function as described, go to PARKING BRAKE CIRCUIT VOLTAGE CHECK below.
