Power Steering ECU

  1. Raise vehicle, and support it on chassis stands. Remove instrument panel undercover. DO NOT disconnect ECU connector. Start engine. Using DVOM, measure voltage between computer terminals SOL (+) and SOL (-) with engine idling. See Figure. Meter should indicate .32-.44 volt.
  2. Place transmission in gear. Increase indicated vehicle speed to 37 MPH. Meter should now indicate .14-.40 volt. If voltage is not as specified, replace ECU.
