Low Oil Pressure Warning Switch

NOTE: The low oil pressure warning switch is on the left front side of engine block, behind the oil filter.
  1. Test is performed with the switch installed in the engine. Check that there is continuity betweenthe center terminal and ground with the engine stopped.
    2. NOTE: Oil pressure should be over 4.3 psi.
  2. Check that there is no continuity between terminal and ground with the engine running.
  3. If operation is not as specified, replace the switch.
