Diagnostic Code Output

  1. Locate Total Diagnostic Communication Link (TDCL) under left side of instrument cluster. See Figure. Turn ignition switch ON. Using Tester (09843-18020), connect terminals "Tc" and "E1" of TDCL.
  2. Read diagnostic code on CRUISE MAIN indicator light. If a diagnostic code is not displayed, inspect diagnosis circuit. See DIAGNOSTIC CIRCUIT under TESTING in this article. If a diagnostic code is displayed, perform procedure indicated by the chart in Figure. See TESTING in this article.
  3. After completing diagnostic code check, disconnect terminals "Tc" and "E1" and turn off the display. Clear diagnostic codes if necessary.
