Solenoid Relay Continuity

  1. Remove solenoid relay from actuator. See SOLENOID & PUMP MOTOR RELAYS under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. See Figure. Using a DVOM, check continuity of solenoid relay. Ensure continuity is present between terminals No. 1 and 3. See Figure.
  2. Continuity should not be present between terminals No. 2 and 4, or terminals No. 4 and 5. If continuity is not as specified, replace solenoid relay.
