Airflow Mode Controls

  1. Put airflow mode control switch in Face position. Using an ohmmeter, ensure continuity exists between terminals No. 4 and 17 of A/C control assembly 18-pin connector. See Figure. Place switch in Bi-Level position. Ensure continuity exists between terminals No. 12 and 17.
  2. Place switch in Foot position. Ensure continuity exists between terminals No. 3 and 17 of A/C control assembly 18-pin connector. Place switch in Foot/Defrost position. Ensure continuity exists between terminals No. 15 and 17. Place switch in Defrost position. Ensure continuity exists between terminals No. 11 and 17. If continuity is not as specified, replace A/C control assembly.
