Solenoid Relay Operation

  1. Remove solenoid relay from actuator. See SOLENOID & PUMP MOTOR RELAYS under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. See Figure. Connect jumper wire between battery positive and relay terminal No. 3. Connect a second jumper wire between ground and relay terminal No. 1. See Figure.
  2. Ensure continuity is present between terminals No. 4 and 5. Ensure continuity is not present between relay terminals No. 2 and 4. If continuity is not as specified, replace solenoid relay.
