DTC U0080-87: Vehicle Communication Bus F - Signal invalid: Action
NOTE:
The FlexRay wiring harness must not be repaired by making a localized wiring repair. A new wiring harness should be installed
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the snapshot data (0xD020) to determine the missing message source control module. To decode the hexadecimal value of 0xD020 refer to the list below (DID D020 HEXADECIMAL RESPONSE - MISSING MESSAGE - MISSING MESSAGE SOURCE SYSTEM). Check the relevant control module for related Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and refer to the relevant DTC index. Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, perform a FlexRay network integrity test. Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the Vehicle communication bus F (FlexRay) between the relevant control module (for example as indicated by the snapshot data) and the restraints control module

- If fault persists check for the latest software for the restraints control module and the source module of the signal and update as necessary
