DTC B1304-07: Electronic Power Assisted Steering System - Mechanical failures: Action

  1. Check and adjust the tire pressures as required. Refer to: SPECIFICATIONS .
  2. Check the wheel and tires comply with the manufacturers specification for the vehicle. Refer to: SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Check the suspension and steering for damage. For steering gear damage inspection see the 'Electric Power Steering Gear Inspection  ' table in this procedure.
  4. Using the JLR  approved diagnostic equipment, re-configure the PSCM  with the latest level software.
