DTC C1004-93: Right Power Running Board Deploy - No operation: Action
- Inspect the security and integrity of the deployable sidestep motor circuit connectors and rectify as required
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the deployable sidestep motor circuit for open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary, clear the DTC and retest
- Inspect the deployable sidestep hinge for dirt and debris, wash the step if necessary
- Remove the step plank and check the deployable sidestep front hinge for free movement. If movement is restricted, replace the deployable sidestep front hinge
- Operate the deployable sidestep motor (the motor should still operate correctly without the step plank installed). If the motor movement is restricted, renew the deployable sidestep motor. Clear the DTC and retest
