DTC B1538-19: Electrically Deployable Tow Bar Movement Motor - Circuit current above threshold: Action
- Inspect the security and integrity of the deployable towbar circuit connectors and rectify as required
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the deployable towbar movement motor circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power. Repair the wiring harness as necessary, clear the DTC and retest
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the deployable towbar motor harness circuits for short circuits. Repair the wiring harness as necessary, clear the DTC and retest
- Using Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, run the diagnostic routine - Enable Protected Outputs (0x205E) - to reactivate the deployable towbar movement motor. Clear the DTC and retest
- If the fault persists, install a new deployable towbar movement motor
