DTC P026B-29 Injection Timing Performance - Signal invalid: Action
- Vehicle Conditions to enable DTC Logging Strategy
- Check the powertrain control module for fuel injection related Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and refer to the relevant DTC index
- Disconnect and inspect the fuel injector circuit connector(s) for signs of water ingress. Check pins for damage and/or corrosion. Rectify as required and securely reconnect the fuel injector circuit connector(s)
- Refer to the system wiring diagrams and check fuel injector circuit(s) for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair wiring as required
- Check the fuel injector(s) for contamination or mechanical integrity. If the injector is contaminated or damaged, replace the affected injector(s) as required
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest
- If the fault persists, install a new fuel injector
