DTC U0001-88: High Speed CAN Communication Bus - Bus off: Action

NOTE: Do Not replace the infotainment master controller for this DTC alone

Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, perform routine - On Demand Self Test (0x0202) and read the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s). If the DTC is set go to step 2, if the DTC is no longer set go to step 3
Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and disconnect the high speed CAN bus circuit from the infotainment master controller and perform step 1. Check for high speed CAN bus short circuit to battery, short circuit to power or open circuit Diagnostic Trouble Code(s), if any of the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) are set refer to the system wiring diagrams and check the high speed CAN bus circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest
