DTC B1968-02: Lower Front Display Screen - General signal failure: Action

  1. Check that the lower front display is working, if the display is working go to step  4. If there is no display go to step 2
  2. Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, perform routine - On Demand Self Test (0x0202) and read the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s). If the DTC is set go to step 3, if the DTC is no longer set go to step  4
  3. Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the Interactive Control Display Module (ICDM) APIX circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary. Clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest
  4. Check the infotainment master controller software release notes to see if a repair is available and update the infotainment master controller and repeat step  2. If no software update is available go to step 5
  5. Check the interactive display module A for any internal failure Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and follow the DTC index
  6. Check for other Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) relating to the customer concern and follow the DTC index
