DTC B14B0-12: Television Antenna #1 - Circuit short to battery: Action
NOTE:
Do Not
replace the infotainment master controller for this DTC alone
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, perform routine - On Demand Self Test (0x0202) and read the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s). If the DTC is set go to step 2, if the DTC is no longer set go to step 3
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and disconnect the television antenna from the infotainment master controller and perform step 1. Check for television antenna short circuit DTC, if the DTC is set refer to the system wiring diagrams and check the television antenna circuit for short circuit to battery. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the infotainment master controller software release notes to see if a repair is available and update the infotainment master controller. Clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest
