DTC B14A8-08: BroadR-Reach Link - Infotainment Slave - Link #1 (-) - Bus signal/message failures: Action
NOTE:
Do Not
replace the infotainment master controller or infotainment slave controller for this DTC alone
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, perform routine - On Demand Self Test (0x0202) and read the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s). If the DTC is set go to step 2, if the DTC is no longer set go to step 3
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and disconnect the infotainment slave controller BroadR-Reach® Link#1 circuit from the infotainment master controller and perform step 1. Check for infotainment slave controller BroadR-Reach® Link#1 signal failure DTC, if the DTC is set refer to the system wiring diagrams and check the infotainment slave controller BroadR-Reach® Link#1 circuit for short circuit. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the infotainment master controller/infotainment slave controller software release notes to see if a repair is available and update the infotainment master controller and infotainment slave controller. Clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest
