DTC B1492-13: Microphone #1 Input Signal - Circuit open: Action
NOTE:
- If this DTC is set simultaneously with other Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) including U200F-11, check symptoms for U200F-11 first, rectify the fault, clear Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest
- Do Not replace the infotainment master controller or infotainment slave controller for this DTC alone
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, perform routine - On Demand Self Test (0x0202) and read the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s). If the DTC is set go to step 2, if the DTC is no longer set go to step 3
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and disconnect the infotainment master controller/infotainment slave controller microphone 1 from the infotainment master controller/infotainment slave controller and perform step 1. Check for infotainment master controller/infotainment slave controller microphone 1 open circuit DTC, if the DTC is set refer to the system wiring diagrams and check the infotainment master controller/infotainment slave controller microphone 1 circuit for open circuit. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the infotainment master controller/infotainment slave controller software release notes to see if a repair is available and update the infotainment master controller/infotainment slave controller. Clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest
