DTC B1146-11: Passive Sounder Supply - Circuit short to ground: Action

NOTE:

After making sure any faults have been repaired, inspect if DTC U1000-00 is stored in the BCM . If yes, using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, run the application 'Ignition cycle counter reset' from ECU Diagnostics - Body Control Module (BCM) - ECU Functions. The application re-enables the output and allows successful validation of the repair using the recommended method
To validate the repair attempt to lock the vehicle with a side door ajar and listen for the error tone emitted from the passive sounder, then using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment check that this DTC is not set within the body control module

Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the passive sounder circuit for short circuit to ground. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
