DTC B14DC-13: Electronic Toll Collection Module - Circuit open: Action

NOTE: Do Not  replace the infotainment master controller for this DTC alone
  1. Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, perform routine - On Demand Self Test (0x0202) and read the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s). If the DTC is set go to step 2, if the DTC is no longer set go to step  4
  2. Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and disconnect the electronic toll collection module from the infotainment master controller and repeat step  1. Check for electronic toll collection module - circuit open DTC, if the DTC is set go to step 3, if the DTC is no longer set go to step  4
  3. Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the electronic toll collection module circuit for open circuit. Repair the wiring harness as necessary. Clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest
  4. Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the infotainment master controller software release notes to see if a repair is available and update the infotainment master controller. Clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest. If no software update is available go to step 5
  5. Check for other Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) relating to the customer concern and follow the DTC index
