If the temperature in the engine compartment reaches the trigger threshold, or if the 'GREEN'  fire suppression switch is pressed. The fire suppression control module activates the firing head on the fire suppressant tank and sounds the alarm. The firing head opens and allows gas from the tank into the distribution system, where it is sprayed through the four nozzles into the engine compartment.
