DTC B1316-02: Boot/Trunk Latch Power Close Unit - General signal failure: Action
- Check the upper tailgate for obstructions. Remove any obstructions and carry out a home position reset. Clear the DTCs and retest
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the upper tailgate soft close position switch signal circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness or install a new upper tailgate soft close actuator as necessary
