DTC U0001-87: High Speed CAN Communication Bus - Missing message: Action

NOTE:
  • Do NOT replace any Control Modules (ECU's) just on the basis of this DTC
  • Guided Diagnostics must be followed and the repair advised by the process completed. Failure to do so may result in the rejection of any warranty claim made
  1. Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the snapshot data to determine the invalid data source control module. Check datalogger signal - Network Operating System ECU Local Signal Handle (0xD020). Refer to - Datalogger Signal 0xD020 - In the appropriate Steering System article. Check other modules for the same DTC indicating a fault in the wiring harness and/or incompatibility in the software versions
  2. Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the high speed CAN bus (chassis) circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Refer to - Power Steering Control Module Circuit Checks - In the appropriate Steering System article for connector and circuit information
