DTC P0123-85: Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "A" Circuit High - Signal above allowable range: Action
- Vehicle Conditions to Enable DTC Logging Strategy
- Ignition On, Engine speed greater than 1200rpm for 5 seconds
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check accelerator pedal position sensor circuit for short circuit to power
- Inspect connectors for signs of water ingress, and pins for damage and/or corrosion
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest
- Check and install a new accelerator pedal position sensor as required
