HVAC Control Module (G2430842): Installation

    • Install the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) control module.
    • Install and tighten the 3 bolts.

      Torque  : 1.9 Nm 

    • Install the HVAC control module assembly to the vehicle.
    • Secure the 2 wiring harness clips.
    • Connect the 4 electrical connectors.
    • Reposition the HVAC control module assembly.
    • Install and tighten the 3 bolts.

      Torque  : 9 Nm 

    • Secure the wiring harness clip.
  4. Install the instrument panel lower trim.

    Refer to: DRIVERS INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER TRIM

  5. Connect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: 12V SYSTEM DISCONNECT AND CONNECT

  6. NOTE:
    • This step is only required if a new component is installed.
    • SRO to be claimed separately.
    • Use the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) approved diagnostic equipment to configure the new module.

      General Equipment: Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment 

    • Follow all on-screen instructions to complete this task.
