DTC P0219-86: Engine Overspeed Condition - Signal invalid: Action
NOTE:
No repair actions relating to the Transmission or Transmission Control Module will rectify this fault.
- Prioritized steps to perform:
- Make sure the hybrid/EV battery pack is fully charged and rectify as required
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the powertrain control module for related DTCs and refer to the relevant DTC index
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the electric power inverter converter (EPIC) for related DTCs and refer to the relevant DTC index.NOTE: If DTC P0A40 -00 (Drive Motor A Position Sensor Circuit Range/Performance) is set in the Electric Power Inverter Converter (EPIC) module, check the vehicle wiring harness for damage between the EPIC module and electric drive motor
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check for EV battery pack related DTCs and refer to the relevant DTC index
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the DTCs and retest
- If the fault persists, raise a Technical Assist (TA) for further support
