DTC P2879-93: Clutch "B" Performance/Stuck Disengaged - No operation: Action
- Prioritized steps to perform:
- Make sure the hybrid/EV battery pack is fully charged and rectify as required
- Check startup battery charge and condition and record values
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the powertrain control module for related DTCs and refer to the relevant DTC index
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the electric power inverter converter (EPIC) for related DTCs and refer to the relevant DTC index
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check for EV battery pack related DTCs and refer to the relevant DTC index
- Check the transmission fluid level using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to run the 8-speed ZF - Automatic Transmission Fluid Level Check Application. Refer to the relevant service information and check the automatic transmission fluid qualityFor additional information, Refer to: TRANSMISSION OIL COLOR CHART If the automatic transmission fluid condition is unsatisfactory, raise a Technical Assist (TA) for further support
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, reconfigure the transmission control module with the latest level software
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the DTCs and retest
- If the fault persists, raise a Technical Assist (TA) for further support
