- Vehicle Conditions to Enable DTC Setting Strategy
- Allow the vehicle to cool for greater than 8 hours. Drive steady state cruise conditions above 72 km/h for 30 seconds (x3) and steady state cruise below 5 km/h (x3) for 30 seconds
- Prioritized Checks to Perform
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the manifold absolute pressure and temperature sensor circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Check the electrical connectors for evidence of water ingress. Check the terminals for damage and corrosion. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Install new manifold absolute pressure and temperature sensor
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, run application - ECU Diagnostics/Powertrain Control Module (PCM)/Clear Diagnostic Trouble Code(s). Retest
