DTC P0039-13: Turbocharger/Supercharger Bypass Valve "A" Control Circuit Range/Performance - Circuit open: Action
- Vehicle Conditions to Enable DTC Logging Strategy
- Drive vehicle in boosted regions and complete numerous negative transients (Acceleration followed by abrupt back outs (throttle closure))
- Inspect connectors for signs of water ingress, and pins for damage and/or corrosion
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the compressor bypass control actuator circuit for
- Fuse failure
- Short circuit to ground
- Short circuit to power
- Open circuit
- High resistance
- Check and install a new compressor bypass control actuator, only when diagnosed as failed
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest
