- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, view live data (0x61B8) and check the internal count status
- Normal operation - 80 - 700 counts
- Failure circuit voltage - 0 counts
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the body control module/gateway module for related Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and refer to the relevant DTC index
- Refer to electrical circuit diagrams and check the passive fuel sender circuit in the fuel tank for short circuit to ground. Repair circuit as necessary. Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear DTC and retest
