DTC B14D1-96: SDARS (Satellite Radio) Tuner - Component internal failure: Action

NOTE:
  • Do Not  replace the infotainment master controller for this DTC alone
  • This DTC may log as a result of hardware/software incompatibility and may not indicate a fault in the vehicle
  1. Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, perform routine - On Demand Self Test (0x0202) and read the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s). If the DTC is set go to step 2, if the DTC is no longer set go to step  3
  2. Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the infotainment master controller software release notes to see if a repair is available and update the infotainment master controller. Clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest
  3. If the fault persists, install a new satellite radio card
