DTC B1024-87: Start Control Unit - Missing message: Action
NOTE:
To validate the repair firstly remove the battery from the Smart key and check that the vehicle can be started through the back-up start procedure (holding the Smart key next to the active key transceiver module and operating the stop/start switch)
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the active key transceiver module power and ground circuits for open circuit, short circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the active key transceiver module LIN bus circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
