DTC P2787-4B: Clutch Temperature Too High - Over temperature: Action
NOTE:
- If this DTC is set with P080A-54 perform the repair action for P080A-54 first
- This DTC may log due to operating the vehicle in high ambient temperatures, or excessive use of the rear drive unit in extreme conditions
- Check for excessive play or damage in the rear halfshafts and wheel bearings and repair as necessary. If the fault persists, perform the following repair actions below
- If available using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, select one of the following guided diagnostic concern areas below, or select the guided diagnostic using the available tab
- Powertrain - Transmission and Driveline - Loss Of Traction
- Warning - Messages - 2 wheel drive only - traction reduced
- Allow the vehicle to cool. Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the DTCs and retest
- If the fault persists, using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check for Anti-lock brake system DTCs and repair as necessary. Clear the DTCs and retest
- If the fault persists, using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment run application - ECU stress. If the DTC persists, check and install a new rear drive unit as necessary and run application - Healthcheck
