DTC B1538-93: Electrically Deployable Tow Bar Movement Motor - No operation: Action
- Inspect the security and integrity of the deployable towbar circuit connectors and rectify as required
- Refer to the appropriate service information and check the deployable towbar movement motor circuit for open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary, clear the DTC and retest
- Check the deployable towbar hall sensor and the deployable towbar motor for mechanical failure and rectify as required
- If fault persists, using Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, reconfigure the towbar control module with the latest level software. Clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest
