- Check the deployable sidestep motor for mechanical failure and rectify as required
- Inspect the deployable sidestep motor connections for security and integrity. Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the deployable sidestep motor sensor circuit for open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary, clear the DTC and retest
