Prioritised steps to perform:
Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the transmission control switch for related Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and refer to the relevant DTC index
Check the operation of the paddle switches. Free the stuck switch or install a new paddle switch as necessary
Check and update the car configuration file as necessary. Clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest
