Possible Causes
NOTE:
- Monitor description. Integrity check of transmission control module signal.
- This DTC is set when the powertrain control module has detected a failure when comparing two or more input parameters for plausibility.
- Transmission control module power or ground circuit open circuit, high resistance
- Transmission control switch power or ground circuit open circuit, high resistance
- High speed CAN bus (powertrain) circuit short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
- FlexRay bus circuit short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
- Transmission system fault
- Transmission control switch fault
