WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2018 Land Rover Range Rover, 2017 Land Rover Range Rover, 2016 Land Rover Range Rover, 2015 Land Rover Range Rover, and 2014 Land Rover Range Rover. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE:
With this DTC set an ignition cycle is required before the door module will re-attempt driving the door blind
- Check door blind travels to fully open and closed positions using appropriate switch on driver door window switch
- If the door blind movement is momentary only then the door blind is not initialized, perform routine - Window and Sunblind (0x2063). Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the DTCs and retest
- If the door blind does not move when operated check for mechanical failures/wiring harness fault. Disconnect the startup battery ground cable. Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the door blind motor circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair circuit as required and reconnect the startup battery ground cable. Operate window blind (up and down) through at least two cycles. Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the DTCs and retest
- If fault persists, install a new door blind motor as required
