Possible Causes
NOTE:
- Monitor description . Plausibility of sensor output against engine speed
- This DTC is set when the powertrain control module has measured a signal voltage above a specified range but not necessarily a short circuit to power, gain too high.
- Knock sensor circuit short circuit to power
- Knock sensor
- Excessive mechanical noise from the engine
